Welcome To Baking! In this course, the students learn the basics for baking. Food science is explored and how it pertains to the ingredients in baked goods. Methods of mixing are taught in each unit. It is a great course to take if you have a love for baking! Course units include: Cookies Pies Quick Breads Yeast Breads Cakes Cupcake Wars Challenge!
All units focus on proper techniques for measuring and mixing. Problem solving and decision making skills are reinforced as well as time management skills.
